  • Help with witness statement (N244)

    Hi all,

So, I'm really struggling with what to write on my witness statement on my N244.

I am asking for a consent order (I have sent a consent order to claimant today in the post) On the basis that they return the consent order I am struggling with the wording.

Long story short but I have a CCJ on my name which has only just recently came to light upon checking my credit file. (For a mortgage application)
I had a subcontractor who worked for my Ltd company who did a poor job, so the client held payment while I rectified their work resulting in them being paid late. (Only 2 weeks)

The CCJ has been entered against me personally and not the Ltd company. The CCJ has also been paid.

I am really struggling with how to word this into a witness statement, any help would be greatly appreciated with this.

    Thank you
