  • Bailiffs have given up, what next?

Good morning, I would be grateful for some guidance please.
my elderly mother had a boiler fitted by an unregistered engineer. He showed her an old card. Gassafe shut the boiler down as it was unsafe. She had to get another company to put the work right. I took the engineer to court to claim the money back for rectifying the work. He didn't put in a defence so it was ruled in our favour. He didn't pay so I got a warrant of control. The court bailiffs visited three times and failed to speak to him.
My mother is 86 and this has affected her so badly. I don't know what to do. Do I give up now or go back to court for a third party order or something different. He's still working and still displaying logos on his website fraudulently. It makes me so angry but I don't want to waste money going after him if there's no point.
    Thank you

Did you use county court bailiffs? If so, and if the judgment is more than £600, you might try using High Court Enforcement Officers.

If the judgment debtor owns property, you can obtain a charging order. Obtain Land Registry details for his address.

I think they were county court bailiffs. The first ti
me they couldn't even find the address and I had to email a map. How do I organise High Court enforcement officers? The claim is £2000. Thank you very much for your response.
