Contract Law query

A and B agree and sign a contract. Within this A has an undertaking to B to instruct contractors C, to perform a clearly defined task.

Once advised it has been completed B disputes that the task has been completed to a satisfactory level by C.

B has no contract with C.

What action can B take and against whom?

Did C know he was working for the benefit of B?

Has B paid A?

What would it cost B to get the work done properly that C was supposed to do?

I think B has to sue A for which A can add C as a party to the claim..

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
