2 years ago I had Mortimer Clark issue a court claim over this specific account. They discontinued 2 days before the hearing.
This morning I have received a text message from BW Legal saying they have been trying to contact me regarding this same account (There has been no previous correspondence from them) . My question is ( without the defence) on just the basis it has already been raised as a court case and discontinued by Mortimer Clark, should BW Legal now be chasing this and can I use that time and effort has already been spent defending already along with time off work to attend the hearing that was cancelled at short notice.

Or is it best to keep quiet and bring it up later.

Putting the discontinued court case aside, how old is the debt? is it over 6 years.

I have finally received a letter from BW legal giving very brief details. It turns out that it isn't the same case

Our Client: JC International Acquisition Ltd
Original Creditor BFSL Ltd T/A Budget Financial services Ltd
Balance Due £60 ish
They will however very generously allow me to pay a mere £45 ish at £10 a month

These are the only details no idea of when the balance accrued or why or what BFSL is.

Clearly BW Legal are not acting as Legal Advisors for £40.

JC are Zombie debt buyers I believe same company as CARS . .

I shall ask BW to provide ore details , they can work for their commission
