    Service Claim

    Hi

    I, informally,knew that I will have a FHDRA (first hearing dispute resolution appointment) on the middle of April vs my ex partner.
    I had this information talking with my ex partner, but I never received any service of claim or response pack or application form.


    Is it regular? I think no.

    I would receive a service and to have 14 days to reply.

    What Can I do? Do I have to go in the hearing?



    What is the procedure?

NOTE: If you receive a court claim note these dates in your calendar ...
Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
