Okay so embarrassingly and stupidly over a year ago I stole a £4 product from Superdrug, I was caught and I was taken into the back to have my ID photocopied & I was banned from store for 12 months. No police was involved and I was sent around 5 RLP letters which I ignored and they just stopped after 2 months.
However now I’ve just got employed by the NHS and I’m worried this may show on my DBS check. I’m actually terrified as I didn’t declare this as I wasn’t arrested nor was I charged with anything and no police was involved. I’ve got no criminal record and have never done it before it was just a stupid moment which I now regret massively. Will this show on my DBS check? I’m waiting for this before I can start my employment but I’m now worried I should of told them as they asked to be honest and I just went blank as I didn’t want them to withdraw my job offer which I’ve worked so hard to achieve.
