  • settlement deadline issue

    Hello,

if a organisation has offered a settlement, due to several issues you cannot give an answer by the deadline. You ask for a new deadline to be offered as soon as the other issues are resolved - this is agreed. But at the point you are ready to move forward all communications are ignored on giving a new deadline and the old deadline has passed - is this a sort of breach of contract?

    Thank you.

bumping as i have searched the internet and struggling to get some certainty on this. I am assuming that a written agreement to extend is a new contract?
