  • Received a letter before action- how do I find a solicitor?

I'm hoping someone can help me out.
I've recently received a letter before action relating to a property issue/dispute of co-owned property. I've been given a deadline of 14 days to respond, so I need to find a solicitor experienced in this area ASAP. I have no idea where to start to find a solicitor to represent me, as I've never had any dealings with the law (other than conveyancing). Can anyone recommend a good solicitor? I don't mind where they are located, but they must be based in England. Thanks

Thanks DES8. I’ve already looked on that site, but I found it difficult to pinpoint the type of solicitor I’m looking for. How do I do a specific search for a solicitor knowledgeable in mediation and property disputes and how do I know how good they are?*

Suggest you Google "property dispute mediation"* lots pop up, but doubt anyone here will actually recommend a particular firm
        look for an "accredited mediator"
