Hi Everyone,
looking for a bit of advice regarding a criminal injuries claim . Long story short i was glassed in a pub 5 months ago, causing permanent scarring on my chin, and subsequent loss of feeling in that area (all numb 24/7) I have had my thumb and pinky's tendons completely ripped they had to be operated on, I now have little movement in both fingers.
Im about to make a claim for Criminal injuries on the Gov Website. which i understand you can just do yourself as long as you have the relevant info about your case? The question I have is regarding the pub it happened in, on the night i was attacked they never called the police (police confirmed this) or shut the pub (cleared away all evidence, Threw the glass away and cleaned up the blood (there was loads of it) The police only knew about it because a person (not the pub) phoned an ambulance for me. By the time they came I was already at the hospital.the police were not happy with the pub... could i have a claim against the pub here??
Thanks in advance
Paul
