Query regarding defence and supporting documents

Hi,

I have received a court claim and am in the process of composing my defence.

I have a number of documents in support of my defence, but I will not be able to provide these with the defence. Just checking...this is not an issue is it? I don't have to provide all supporting documents with the defence do I? Wouldn't this be done afterwards...i.e. when documents are exchanged between the parties?

Hi

Just wondering if somebody can confirm, or otherwise, that supporting documents do not have to be provided with the defence and can be provided at a later date?

NOTE: If you receive a court claim note these dates in your calendar ...
Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
