Hi guys, I am just wondering if I can call on you guys for a bit of help.
I am going through an employment tribunal and I am the claimant.
Basically I have put the wrong date in my particulars of claim that indicates the commencement of an additional role with the respondent.
I never received any paperwork from the respondent in regards to my engagement in this role. (ie; statement of employment particulars). However I received a contract 5 days prior to ostensibly failing a trial for this role - which indicated the role commencing 2-3 weeks later than it actually did.
I used dates referenced by the respondent at the time of issuing the claim - I was unaware that I had proof right under my nose in my wage slips and now I have the proof that that dates are incorrect and my role commenced much sooner than this, this has significantly tipped the odds in my favor.
Not to mention that the respondent has lied through their back teeth in their ET3.
I have given the proof to the respondent as per my documents and an application to extend the witness statement deadline has been granted by the court.
Although I am concerned that I may need to amend my particulars of claim.
Please help!
