getting a court to determine insurers liability

Hi, can anyone tell me how I can apply to a court for declarations as to an insurer’s potential liability to me?

I would not state how much my claim is worth, only that the court to decide whether I have a valid claim. Clearly, this would not be a small claims court.

Can anyone tell me what the process for this might be?

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
