hi,
can anyone help me i answer to the following please.....
I have escalated my claim from county court to the high court sheriffs, theyve told me last week they have got money owed from defendant and just have to wait the legal 14 days and then release it to me, an hour later i got a court letter stating the defendant has applied for relief of sanctions and set aside judgement. The courts have allocated 30 mins private case for the defendant to produce statements etc in support of this claim , the court case is county court in croydon, i live in Brighton. The forms do not state whether i need to attend this case or not??? I have however emailed my response to the defendants application to ask the judge to consider my response, which mainly is defamatory and unsubstantiated remarks towards me and not supporting the application can anyone help with this answer ;( I was only informed last week that the court date is 2pm 21st May and hasnt given me time to cover my dog business, although I do not want it to go against me if I do not attend.
