      Hi,
Will this suffice for my offer?

      Dear Sir/Madam,

Without Prejudice - No debt is acknowledged to you.

In the interests of goodwill, and because it simply appears this is going to take up a lot of time and effort to sort out, I would be willing to make an offer of 50% (£87.00) in full and final settlement of the account S46295 in order to end the matter forthwith. I am making this offer on the clear understanding that, if you accept it, neither you nor any associate company will take any other action to collect or enforce this debt in any way and that I will be released from any liability.

I can pay the amount I have offered within 7 days of receiving your written agreement of this offer.

Please give me details of how I can pay.

I look forward to hearing from you.

      Kind Regards

Hi Amethyst, received the following response from SLL this morning:

        Dear Mr ,

We are writing to let you know that your original lender ACCESS MORTGAGE UNDERWRITING LIMITED account has been passed to Moriarty Law in relation to the recovery of the outstanding balance.

If you have any questions regarding this debt, we kindly ask that you contact Moriarty Law on the details below:

        Moriarty Law
        15 Old Bailey, London, EC4M 7EF
        0203 126 4544
        Email: admin@moriartylaw.co.uk

Do I know go back to Moriarty with a new offer or wait for Moriarty to send more information as they have stated. I have checked the tracking on my CCA request with SLL and they are now in receipt of that request. Why is no one interested in accepting an offer?

Because they're idiots.... basically. Don't worry, I'd just leave it now and let them carry on with whatever they decide to try and do considering the agreement is in a false company name.

Ha, that they certainly are. No, I think thats the best option isn’t it. I have tried to mediate but they don’t want to know. Just going to keep an eye on the calendar, think it works out to be late April when it becomes Statute Barred. But I expect they are aware of that. Just hope it doesn’t go to a claim.
If and when they supply the requested documents, should they then give me a set amount of time to respond before entering a claim?

Hi Amethyst, I have received the CCA docs from SLL. They are the same docs that Moriarty sent me. Very limited information I feel. Please let me know your thoughts. CCA_SLL.pdf
