  • Erudio Identification & Verification Request - returned postal order

Hello, I'm in the process of requesting data from Erudio after they issued a claim via Shoemakers.

The claim is on hold while the info is gathered, but Erudio are asking for a heck of a lot of info from me:

    For the SAR they want:
    - Full name (who they wrote to)
    - First line of address (which they wrote to)
    - Postcode
    - Date of birth

    - Last provided address to student loans company (could be a trap since they also sent the claim form to an old address, I will provide more details about the claim soon)

    They also would quite like

    - two phone numbers

Additionally, re the CCA they have returned the postal order saying that it is no longer necessary for the request and have asked for identification. Either:

    - deed poll
    - driving license- passport
    - marriage certificate

I've done a few of these requests recently and have never been asked for this kind of evidence. Is it really necessary since it is me responding to the claim and writing the letters to them?

    Thanks in advance

I've just received the same thing and found it odd. What did you do?

    Thanks.
