lowell and letter of claim

so I'm going to cut a long story short, had a letter of claim come through from lowell solicitors but there is a few problems,

it's for a talk talk telecom limited account,

its addressed to the wrong name its like my name but not actually my name

I've requested information from them and had no replys to try and find where the said debt has come from

so how and what should I do now? I intend on defending the last name is mine but not the first name, so how would this even stand in court?

This is a letter before action with a form to complete and return - have you completed that form with your questions ( request for evidence / documents? ) or was that in a previous letter ?

Other than the error in the first name, do you recognise the account ? Does anything show on your credit file for the debt?

How much approx. is it ?

Thanks for your reply, Ive requested for information but have received no reply from them regarding the alledged debt.

No i do not reconize it.

No there is nothing on my credit file regarding it.

It is for approx 500 (600 with their estimated costs for court)
