I work for a catering company and was recently suspended for accepting a free pint off a colleague behind the bar. I have been suspended for gross misconduct and will probably be dismissed as I admitted it. My question is, a few months ago the GM altered the time I signed out from work, which I also signed, to pay me less money. I discovered this going through some sign in/out sheets. I asked him about this and he apologised and I let it slide.
Been as I have a clean record and have worked there for 3 years I felt a warning would be more appropriate. So I feel like i want to open a grievance about him forging my timesheet.
If I was to open a grievance about this incident would I remain on suspension whilst the company dealt with it?
