Hi Guys, I posted 19.08.17 about SLL Capital Ltd chasing an old debt from Cash store in 2012, which they say they took over in 2014, after they had sent me a copy of agreement with illegible signatures and no dates etc. on it and I asked questions about it, they went very quiet, I have yesterday received another letter from them that includes, a default fact sheet and a notice of default dated 28.02.18. It says if I don't pay £1005.00 in 21 days they may, 1. terminate the agreement and demand all monies due, which is what they are doing anyway and I also never had the agreement in the first place, which as previously stated they didn't provide a proper legal agreement to prove I did. 2. Send it to debt collection agency, which is what they are ?? 3. Bring court proceedings against me to recover the amount outstanding, which will include a claim for costs for bringing the proceedings and enforcing any judgement made in their favour as specified in the agreement. don't know what agreement that is?. Pass account and default to credit reference agencies.
What do I send back to them please ? Any help would be appreciated.

All Cash Store outstanding loans were sold to SLL in 2014 when it went into administration.

I suggest you post up a copy of the agreement you have been sent and see what people think of it. What was the loan for? When did you take it out?

I don't remember taking the loan out which is why I asked for the agreement. I will look for it and post it on see what people think. If it was mine I had no assignment or default notives from Cash store and I thought a default had to be served within a reasonable time not nearly 4 years on ?
