Can I take legal Action against a Bank ?

hi all,

I am posting this in order to get an urgent and helpful advice. Bank sent some money to an account without my permission. I tried to recover from bank as it was their mistake but couldnt as bank not willing to deal with this. So I have complained to the Financial Ombudsman and am waiting for response.

If FO not able to help me, CAN I TAKE BANK TO COURT to get my money ? Can I use Money Claim Online to send notice to the Bank ?

I will be thankful to all who advise me..
