Credit repair

Hi folks,

I want to set aside a ccj because i had no knowledge of it.

I have been in touch with the claimant and they have no objection to setting aside so long as i pay the debt.

my question is do i need a defence to set a ccj aside.

I dont have a defence but its affecting my business in a serious way.

I also recently applied for a mortgage and it got declined so its very much a credit repairing exercise.

Do i have to have a defence or is no knowledge of the proceedings and no objection from the otherside okay in and of itself?

Any help appreciated.
