I've posted here before (check the earlier thread about rlp telling me to stop taking advice from the internet lol), and as per everyone's advice i've simply been ignoring the letters. Today they sent me one mentioning court proceedings, so i was wondering if I should be concerned and do something or just continue to ignore them because they're getting desperate. Thank you!

I'd still be tempted to ignore (:bump:ing for des8 PAWS and Celestine too) they seem to be getting desperate xx

Re: Is this a good sign or a bad sign?
Hi Anongirl
IMHO
Up to you, really.
If it was me, I'd probably write to them asking what happened in the Oxford case, & the judge's decision regarding RLP's 'permission to appeal' request.
But that's me.......others will probably be of the opinion that you should ignore it.CAVEAT LECTOR

Quite right Charity!
If you're bolshie and enjoy a good game of letter tennis, by all means respond,
However they do seem to take that as an indication of weakness and apply more pressure for longer.
You are getting close to the final stage (they've kindly offered you a reduction which is an indication of how desperate they are for any donation, and how certain they are of not winning if they tried court!)
I would continue ignoring.

Re: Is this a good sign or a bad sign?
I am not well up on the legal side but it seems like the clever beagles know their stuff! This is probably tough because it is hard to keep calm when they mention court but from what the others have said (and looking at previous cases on here) this is a standard letter from them at this stage. Put RLP into the search bar and you will see what I mean.
You will get through this -others have- and remember you are not alone.

Re: Is this a good sign or a bad sign?
Absolutely IGNORE. This is part of the process x"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
