Just came across this article:- DWF touting for business.......http://www.discoverretail.co.uk/maki...ivil-recovery/

Making crime pay: top tips for civil recovery

Perhaps surprisingly, given how big a hit retailers are taking to their bottom lines as a result of criminal activity, only around 10 to 15 per cent of all theft and fraud is ever even reported, let alone recovered. To put that in perspective: if you currently recoup £300,000 worth of losses per annum through civil recovery processes, you could be missing out on as much as £2,700,000 more by not reporting all incidents.
You should also remember to report each offender – not just each incident – to ensure that you maximise your return.
    Charming.

sorry to bother you but dont know where to turn I suffer from mental health and one evening I took drink from asda without paying I cant even remember doing it and I dont drink but must of happened. as two to three weeks a received a lettwr saying I had to pay security costs for asda of 125.00 Ive been getting flash backs. It happened. But I told the security guy I suffered from severe a depression anxiety and bordline personaliy disorder and panic. He said that I would be banned from asda and that was it, police wasnt called.
