It is good for others to read that a mistake is not the end of life, and "repairs" are available
However a word of caution about removal (expunge) of cautions from the record.
The event may be expunged completely or just marked as "no further action"
Note that even if the record is completely removed ,information held by the police could still be disclosed under the ‘other relevant information’ section of an enhanced check.
