  • Civil recovery letter help

(I'm unsure this is the right thread to post so correct me if I'm wrong)
Okay I had a crazy mad 5 minutes minutes that I cant stress how awful I feel about it and it was minor shop lifting of literally £3
The shop dealt with it by banning me from the shop and sending a civil recovery letter (fine apparently a minimum of £103) and I do plan to just pay and get it over with (although some have said ignore it?), there was no police involvement
Any how I was wondering what the letter contained if there is any specific evidence and I suppose 'personalised' or a sort of pre written thing with some details tweaked saying cost date of offence etc

This is my first offence eof sorts and I feel awful about it

    Re: Civil recovery letter help

Here's some examples of the letters you might receive - http://legalbeagles.info/forums/show...rs-RLP-and-DWF

Not sure which shop you had your mad moment in, but the same advice applies to all of them, ignore the letters.

( moved your post into the Civil Recovery forum - worth having a read through some other people's threads to see what actually happens ( or doesn't happen as the case may be ) )
