    Hi

    On december 24 I ordered from an Outlet online, I had never used this site so I had checked Facebook and saw they had 4k likes and there were no bad reviews on the internet. It was paid with World Pay.

    I placed my order and haven't heard anything since then, I've sent 4 emails about my order and had no reply, I've phoned them every day multiple times and it claims their office is unavailable, however, they're posting on Facebook. I've inboxed them many times and they read and leave my message. I don't know my rights here, but I am more concerned about the fact I am being ignored than my order not being here at this moment?

    Any advice?

    Can you give us the name of the company or the site name pls. Then we can have a look see if there;s anything to worry about.

    How long was delivery meant to be?
    How much ( approx) was the item ordered ?
    Did you pay by debit or credit card?
    Worldpay (used to) have a decent chargeback system in event of any problems ( I haven't used them for a few years though)

      Hi, the site is called Original Haven Outlet. I spent £20 on there and paid by debit card on the 23rd December.

      Although it says 5-30 days, I haven't got any replies which is why I am very worried. For example, it hasn't even said it has been dispatched (which it claims 97% of orders dispatch in 7 days). I am worried because the social media account is reading all my messages and leaving them.

      After I checked out their facebook page I see there is not many customer activity which suggests to me they have bought their likes which is another concern. In the email I got thanking me for my order it claims there is 24/7 support but I have messaged through their websites chat forum too and never had a response.

      World Pay website claims it's not responsible if you don't receive your order, I'm really quite worried - again I am confused why my order hasn't despatched more than it not being here yet, and also because I am being wildly ignored...

        Hmmmm. Doesn't look great I'm afraid.

        The site wasn't set up until 3rd October. The terms are based on the US and the given address is in the UK is a 'virtual address'.

        There's 4k likes on their facebook page, but NO posts by customers

        In their terms they are called ' Dark Original '.

        Apparently they make their own laws
        These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of :

        105a Euston Street,
        London,
        NW1 2EW.

        I wouldn't be holding out much hope to receive your products.

        There is no reg'd company info or VAT details.

                        you won't be the only one, this kind of stuff happens a lot around Christmas.... 5-30 day delivery gives them a lot of leaway to get as much in as poss before the bad reviews start.

                        I could be completely wrong of course, and they could just be incredibly bad at setting up an online store..... I'm sure someone else will look in and have a scout about too for a second opinion.

                          Although what you are saying makes sense; 4k likes and no comments are obvious bought likes. Their social media links on their site do not go anywhere, always an automated messages when phoned, no replies to emails...

                            Bit gutting when you realise isn't it, but honestly you wouldn't have been the first, and you won't be the last.

                            Had a look at worldpay, they've changed a bit since I used to use them ( from business end) - anyway no they don't do chargebacks any more just provide a payment processing for businesses. I can't tell on the email if it is genuine, only way to check would be to check the transaction ID.

                            So yes, you need to get on to your credit/debit card provider and tell them you've been scammed - if it was debit card you can do a chargeback for any amount - not sure on a credit card though, you can't use section 75 as it was under £100, and you volunteered your card details etc. Worth a try speaking to them though.

                            Should report the site to action fraud and trading standards as well while you're sorting things out.
