I ordered an item from a Facebook seller in mid-August and, despite several messages to them, I have still not received it.
if they bother to answer my messages at all (you can only contact them via FB Messenger) then they just fob me off again and again with excuse after excuse.
They even made the mistake of telling me last week that they were too busy making Hallowe'en orders to send mine out, despite the fact that I've been waiting for mine for 6 weeks longer than they originally stated I would.
I've opened a PayPal dispute but have heard nothing - the seller sent me a furious message on Saturday as I put a very negative comment on their page about the trouble I've been having, and gave me a tracking number thinking this would shut me up. They told me I'd receive my item by this Thursday.
Unsurprisingly, the tracking info tells me that the seller still hasn't passed my item to the courier yet, despite giving me the tracking number on Saturday.
What do I do?? I'm in contact with a couple of other people who ordered around the same time as me and have had the same experience so I have no doubt there's loads of others. I can't get hold of anyone at Facebook to get them to investigate but I really think their page should be taken down if they're taking money and not sending the items out months later. I've reminded them of the Distance Selling Regs but I don't know if they apply to a Facebook seller? It seems I have no way to get this dealt with and I'm not waiting any longer.
I've told the seller that if my item doesn't arrive tomorrow (which it won't!) that I will be putting a public review online stating exactly what has happened but this still hasn't shifted her into action. She's still advertising her stuff and telling people that they'll receive christmas orders in time but there's no way she can honour this if she's still struggling with summer orders (demand for her stuff has rocketed since I made my order). People need to be made aware that they are likely to be let down if they're buying items from her for Christmas presents...
i just dont don't know what action I can take against her but I need to do something now - I'm sick of trying to be patient!
Thanks
