My friend had a wet room put in her ground floor flat in 2011 and because she is disabled it was financed by a grant from the local council
Now she has noticed that the sealed flooring is coming away from the wall around the shower area causing water to go under the sealed flooring. My friend has contacted the company that put the wet room in and someone came out to look at it and said that the wet room was only guaranteed for a year and suggested that she get another company to re do the wet room at her own cost
I think that the wet room should last longer then 3 years considering it cost appox £4.000 to put in and the company should put it right.
Can you give my friend any advice about how to deal with this problem please ?
