Each month I check my remaining minutes/texts/data allowance within the ‘My Account’ feature either online or via the mobile app to ensure that I stay within my tariff allowance. For the previous 18+ months I never went over this.
In October & November this information was unavailable when checking – a message was displayed showing ‘Data currently unavailable – please try again later’ (or words to that effect). I ended up going over my allowance both months and Orange/EE have charged me for it.
My argument is how can I control my usage if I don’t have access to the information which tells me how much/little I have remaining each month. Judging by the number of complaints on the Orange Facebook site I’m not the only customer in this situation.
I can’t believe I don’t have a case here. Can anyone advise what legal rights I should state when making my complaint?
Thanks
