    FIGURES CONFIRM BRITISH GAS AS CASHBACK KINGS

    Concerns that the Government’s Green Deal cash back scheme has been monopolised by British Gas boiler sales have been confirmed by new figures released by DECC. The statistics show that of the 7344 vouchers issued up until the end of July, 7175 were issued by British Gas with more than 90% of those being used to help fund a gas boiler installation. In stark comparison, some of the big merchant groups such as Grafton (Plumbase) and Wolseley (Plumb Center) had each issued only a single voucher.

    Dont have mains gas but it does not supprise me, Britsh Gas are also to raise prices again I belive.

      This may not be unrelated to their extremely aggressive sales tactics.

        Think I posted before re sales targets.
        When we got a quote at our old house they told us we had to do the deal then otherwise it would go up.
        Went eleswhere, not only cheaper but with a transferable warranty.
