Hi just had letter from quotelinedirect canceling home insurance, payments up to date. They say "due to insufficient premiums been paid in relation to cover" never missed a payment what does this mean, and can they do this without warning or talking to us?

    Thanks WmW

Firstly phone the customer services and ask them what is going on and find out why they have done this?

If you get no joy you need to raise this complaint directly to the CEO's office of the Insurance company.

Hi Tuttsi just did that, they are saying that a payment was recalled by the bank !! not refused through insufficient funds. According to my online statements its been paid. They also said that they sent a recorded delivery letter to say the payment had been missed, but the date they gave for it being received, we were all on holiday, so who singed for it I asked? They say they also emailed, no email on my system from them !! They are now demanding a £103.00 with menaces. I think they think, I come up the Clyde in a banana boat

What next, I have put in complaint, do I put it into the Wilson Group, or quotelinedirect, also would a SAR be appropriate.

Before I can answer you who did you pay the money to?

Have they now confirmed that they received all your payments?

What does the £103 represent do you know?

          Hi Sorry been at work.

          1 Creation consumer finance.
          2 Yes.
          3. The money I owe for the cancelation of the policy (they ended it)

I have just noticed that as I was paying the insurance in instalments, I have went through all my papers, I still have the two copies of the original loan agreement and the two direct debits, I never sent them back. It beggars the question on how the have got the money out my bank.

Ahh the delights of creation Finance, yes im having problems with them..
they have refused to take payments for 5 months and are demanding over £300 in one lump! Personally, if you have paid up to date, I would be on the phone demanding a real reason for the cancellation and compensation for the distress caused, but thats just me.

With Creation get everything in writing, DO NOT deal with them on the phone, they have a habit of "forgetting" thing shall we say!
I have already complained to the OFT about their blatant disregard for Debt Collection Guidelines, if might be worth you making a complaint too.

              Re: quotelinedirect.

FWIW, BraveHeart, Creation recently tried sinking their teeth into me. "Will ye spill blood wi' me, today ?"

I had taxi insurance financed by them and I cancelled it earlier this year. The "Insurance Provider" (NOT Creation) confirmed that there would be no further charges, and I cancelled the Direct Debit. Creation then decided to chase me for more dosh. I ignored their $h1t for a while, as I assumed they were totally ignorant of the "Insurance Provider's" assurances to me. I questioned their claim and received no reply. I then received a claim from a DCA going by the name of 'Clarity.'

I emailed Clarity to tell them the account was in dispute, and that they had no lawful right to pursue the matter. Tonight, I received an email from them confirming that the account is being returned to Creation. I really must initiate a thread about this, here....Laters....

Write to this gentleman by email set out you complaint writing keep it short but to the point.

As far as them taking money from your account you must have signed something at some stage for them to be able to do this, otherwise how would they have your bank details.
