Hello im not sure if this is the right place to post this but i was wondering if anyone no's if i have a leg to stand on, I play an online game with a game chat which has rules you can get banned for swearing etc. Ive emailed the game support asking to see a list of these words so i can make sure i don't use them and they said i have no right to see the list. i have paid money into the game so i thought it was my customer right to no all the rules and the list of banned words.

i hope someone can help me out

    Re: online games

As with most sites they are privately run so they write the rules.
These are the same rules you agreed to when you joined, so no you don't "have a leg to stand on".

If you can't communicate without the need to swear, or even need to see their list, then you clearly have no idea how to conduct yourself in public.

It's known as DECORUM and Common Etiquette.
Most sites that have a mixed age group as members and a chat facility have similar rules.
