Last month my breadmaker of six years finally bit the dust so I had to get a new one. I did the usual searches online and found Choicebrands.co.uk were advertising a brevell machine at half the price anywhere else. I placed my order which arrived a few days later, on unpacking it I saw a note on the box, 'factory seconds' I went back on their website and looked at the breadmaker. nowhere did it say that it was a factory second
so I Emailed them saying I had contacted trading standards with my complaint; that factory seconds were being sold as perfect items. within minutes I got a reply asking me to stop contacting trading standards (I hadn't contacted them, just said I had) They put the money back into my bank account and said I could keep the breadmaker. it works perfectly, it just has a dodgey hindge, a bit like me. What a result.........LOL.
Best wishes,
Hod...Liam..
