Hi All, not sure if this is the right thread for this but here goes, I have Setanta on my Thompson top up tv, I sent a letter to Setanta on the 2 May cancelling my subscription, I also cancelled with the Bank, I had been a customer for two years and new they would take out the subscription for May as one months notice, they now keep sending text messages to call them, which I have done twice confirming that I have cancelled, all they keep saying is they did not get the letter, What can I do to stop the text messages and Do you think I still owe them money. Help

If you kept a copy of the letter write a new letter with something like, I closed my account with you on and give date, mention the letter was sent(copy enclosed by you). You cancelled as at 2nd May and as far as you are aware have paid up to date.
Ask them that you want the account closed and any charges incurred up to the date of cancellation refunded and a new balance of account if any money is owed, including an itemised amount so you can double check that it is correct and you will settle the bill. Something like that, does that make sense? Furthermore, if they call again tell them a letter is on the way complaining about non cancellation on their part and you will await their response and their response alone, in writing.
