I settle with a company for an amount in £ and notified them beforehand that I am settling now as the money is my upcoming vacation.
they then send the amount in Euro and not sterling, which means there is a two week delay as my financial institution needs to convert the currency. I spend those two weeks emailing them to tell them of this mistake and the gradual ruination of my trip without access to these funds, and am ignored.
holiday is ruined.
