I purchased an extractor fan from a supplier, which developed a fault. The company have agreed to a replacement. Removing the faulty appliance and fitting the new one involves electrical work. To get certification of the work I need to use a qualified electrician. The supplier of the fan say that they will not pay for the costs of the electrician.
I feel that through no fault of my own, I am being required to incur costs relating to a faulty item supplied to me. Is there any way that I can get the supplier to cover the fitting costs?
