  • copy of a search warrant

I honestly think I am wasting my time asking questions like this hear; but one last time.......

Am I entitled to a copy of a search warrant. I have requested this twice now but the police have failed to respond! (for obvious reasons)

    quote taken from https://www.college.police.uk/app/in...earch-warrants

"When entering the premises, a copy of the Warrant and a Notice to Occupier should be handed to the occupant. Where practicable, these documents should be explained to the occupant before starting the search.

The notice to the occupier provides information about the powers under which the search is being executed."

Has your property been searched by police with a search warrant? Were you there when they arrived? If you were there did they show you the warrant?

I don't think police need a search warrant to search a person, although they do have to have a reason.

Is this about the pen knife taken from you by security at a court building?
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

Everyone is scanned/searched on entry - even magistrates who have forgotten their passes! A knife of any kind would be confiscated. There is nothing more to be said unless there are circumstances we do not know about. Freemen on the land refuse to accept the authority of the police and courts so that may well be the OPs objection...we have not been told exactly what the problem is thus far - perhaps now?

this issue is not about the stolen pen knife, but if theift of this kind is standard play for them then they all need to be hung drawn and quartered and executed; every single one of them in a CLC

Can you be hung drawn and quartered without being executed?
Re the knife - have you asked for it back?

I suspect our "Freeman" friend doesn't have a clue what being hung, drawn and quartered entails. (Or should that be "entrails"...?)
