Perplexed - I am taking on TSB in the small claims. It is the second time I have had to do so.
The first time I served TSB Bank PLC at their head office Gresham St address in London. They acknowledged, filed a defence, and then settled. No issue ever raised about the address used to take them on.
This second claim they are disputing jurisdiction. Companies House have TSB Bank PLC at an Edinburgh address, and they state that they should be taken to Court in Edinburgh.
But I am English, I have the right to take them to Court in England, as per the terms and conditions of the bank account, and also, TSB Bank PLC has a Financial Conduct Authority number 191240, which lists TSB BANK PLC at their Gresham St address.
Are they trying it on?
