    This just doesn’t seem right.
We bought tickets to an event. A few days before the event the event was as scheduled was changed. We were given the option to attend the rescheduled event or defer tickets to 2022 where the originally scheduled event would go ahead. This is what we opted for. However recently we received an email saying we needed to purchase additional tickets to the main event in order to access the building to get into the specific event we have tickets for? Surely this can’t be legal?

    Hi CITIZENS

That's ridiculous because you weren't told about the need for extra tickets at the time of purchase, how did you pay?

I know! We paid with a debit card. We want to go to the event but we obviously do t want to have to essentially pay again!

        a) You should email them that, stating that you weren't told that before you bought the tickets, if you had known you wouldn't have bought them. Explain that what they are doing is against the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

        b) Contact CAB, they might pass it to Trading Standards to look into, but they will give you a Complaint number that you can add to your letter to the company that sold you the tickets.

When did you buy the tickets, date?

We got them 15/08/21 and no where does it mention entry tickets. Surely if you have to have them it should be a mandatory joint purchase ? What would happen if the event sold out. That would mean you had tickets to an event you couldn’t access because the main event had sold out!?!

You could also consider doing a Chargeback, there are time limits on requesting a Chargeback. Make sure you get Proof of Postage.
