  • Here's an interesting one - EU flight cancellation policy

    My partner had a flight booked with Ryanair. To Barcelona. They failed to notify her that it was cancelled due to Covid, and only told her this after she turned up at the airport.

    They have since acknowledged that they were meant to email her notification and did not. She recorded that call in which they admitted fault.

    Can she make a claim under any EU regulations?

    How did your partner pay? Debit / Credit Card, then they should be able to make a Chargeback or Section 75 claim.

          I would have thought that as the flight was to Spain, the EU regulation still matters?
