Hi guys,
So I am having a dispute with Garmin.
I paid £200 for a sports watch in the summer, the Garmin vivo active.
It developed an error on the main screen, in which a sun spot appeared and covers about 10% of the screen.
After reading the Garmin forum, its clear this is a regular occurance, and people had had their watches replaced.
I contacted Garmin, originally they said they had no models in stock, and to try Argos (Where I bought it from). I did, they all but laughed.
I then contacted Garmin, and complained. They apologised and offered a replacement in a slightly different model. I agree'd. They explained that it would take 5-6 weeks, which I have no issue with as the watch is still in good working order. IT's just an annoyance after all.
When they sent me the email, it turns out they want me to post them the watch, and they will respond with and answer on how they're going forward in 5-6 weeks. That is ridiculous IMHO.
Can anyone advise how I go forward from here?
Thanks a lot
