Hi,
I just wondered if anyone could help me. Family member booked flights via Netflights in January before the pandemic truly hit. They are a family of 4 (2 of who are disabled and have special assistance in place with the airline etc) face coverings cannot be worn for the flight duration especially by one of the children (autistic, severe anxiety) and the other disabled member could wear one short term but long term would be an issue (complex mental health and asthma) now the flights are still running however borders are still closed and FCO advises against travel to said country anyway, the airline has a policy of vouchers in place valid until end of next year although no guarantees face coverings will not be needed then so a voucher would be useless. Face coverings weren’t in their terms and conditions prior to the pandemic or when they booked, do they have any legal recourse to get a full refund? Thank you for any help.
