  • Being blackmailed to pay a fine for in return of a DSB check

Now I know this sounds so far fetched and paranoid; but if you had applied for a DSB check for yourself and the issuing authority of that check will only grant you this under the condition that you have paid any *fines in relation to any of the out standing convictions listed in the DSB check.
Would you not consider this blackmail?
All I can ask you is please read the attachment I have uploaded

    Many thanks

You are being paranoid, it's not blackmail and the letter doesn't say you must pay a fine before your DBS check is returned so the title of your thread is certainly misleading.

Can you point out where it says you must pay the fine before they will issue your DBS certificate?
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
