  • Win A Mega Home competition

Hope this is the right thread... and apropos of nothing...

Does anyone remember the 'Win a Mega Home' competition last year?

    https://www.winamegahome.co.uk/

The one where they failed to give the house away, only a relatively small amount of cash, and 'forgot' to give the runner up Aston Martin away?

A little birdie tells me the ASA might be slapping WAMH Ltd. (now Yellow Brick Road Ltd.) on the wrist. But I could be wrong.

(Which I'm sure will really hurt a shell company that had every penny sucked out of it the second the draw ended, if the money ever went into it in the first place...)

Not that they are taking the p with the company name change of course!

I don't know why they think changing the company name will absolve them or protect them from adverse publicity. If the ASA are posting a notice ( scary lol ) then hopefully they'll simply use the original name and add the change of name to it.

Be interesting to see what the ASA do have to say as the terms ( I think ? ) were clear on the minimum tickets purchased requirement.
