Hi there, just looking a few pointers.
I'm at the halfway point where I can VT the car. I'm within their guidelines set forth in my finance agreement - I've paid half the money, I'm within the mileage allowance, the car is in reasonable condition for itws age and miles. I'm just undecided on 2 points.
1. I phoned toyota about VTing my car. They emailed me a letter to sign and a pdf explaining reasonable wear and tear of the vehicle. Their letter to sign seems reasonable enough, however I've read a lot on the Internet about SIGNING NOTHING, just send them a template. Is this a good idea? Or should I just sign the one they emailed me.
2. If I decide to send my own letter (and don't sign theirs), should I immediately cancel the direct debit? If not immediately, when is a good time to cancel it?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Colin.
