my mum bought a used fiat 500 from a local dealer in May. It came with 6 months warranty
a few weeks after buying it an engine warning light came on The dealer had a look at it and said it was a faulty sensor, took it in to fix and on the way home from the repair visit the light was back on.
He only took the car back in to the garage again on Monday 27th and has still been unable to fix the fault. It appears to be a problem with the multi-air system that is in this particular type of car and instead of bringing the car to a fiat dealership, he seems to be trying to get a fiat mechanic to come to him on a 'homer' basis
as of today the car is still not fixed, no timeline on when it will be and a hire car is only being arranged from today.
i think my mum should reject this car since it appears to have a major fault and this is the 2nd time the dealership has had it and still not resolution - any advice on how to proceed. The car is financed through close brothers
thanks in advance
