I picked up a message from someone who claimed his mother had been 'conned' by Vistaprint to the tune of £9.95 a month. I would like it to be known that I - resulting from NOT checking my bank statements properly - have suffered at the hands of the same company, only to a far greater degree. On checking my statements I find that they started deducting £9.95 per month TWICE for eleven months - from June 2007 - and then put the rate up to £11.95 per month - again, TWICE, by the name of VP rewards and Club Prem (from whom you get absolutely nothing by way of membership and it was not requested). I have now sent them an email demanding the sum of £314.50 by return or face the fact that they will suffer at the hands of the small claims court and be reported to Trading Standards.
Any advice you can give me to assist in this will be gratefully received.
I had, unfortunately, given my visa card number when paying for some printing and they had seen fit to use the information to make regular withdrawals from my account. Is there no limit to what some companies will do? I do occasionally make purchases via the internet, but it seems this is not safe.
I am a seventy-one year old female and hope for better treatment than this.
I have cancelled my card so they cannot take any more money, but, unfortunately, I have to wait ten days for a replacement, which is not very convenient.
Many thanks for the opportunity to 'ramble on' - hopefully you will answer with further advice.

You need to ring VPRewards on 0845 6722002

I looked around and it seems if you tell them it is fraud and you will contact the police they pay up. Hope the number helps.

You are not on your own with this UTP, it appears when you order your business cards through this company if you do not tick a certain box you are automatically signed up for some rewards scheme.
Having had a read about others it seems there is no problem getting your money back. You have also done the best thing cancelling your card imo even though it is very inconvenient.
I think your email will work, but if not then let us know and we can then offer further help.
You have a number also that Breeze has given you that looks like it is directly to the reward scheme part of the company. I also found this free phone number if you get no joy with that 0800 028 8251.
Please do report them to Trading Standards, from what I have read they are not breaking the law as such, but the more people complain about things like this the more chance they have of being stopped. Hope this helps Enaid x

        Re: uptightpensioner and Vistaprint

VistaPrint got me as well. In total they stole £252.05!!!

I have done quite a lot of research into who is behind VistaPrint's websites and what else they are doing. What I found out is published here I GOT SCAMMED BY VISTAPRINT, Adaptive Marketing, Adaptive Affinity Ltd, CLUBPREM.COM, HIGHSTREETMAX.COM and AMAZON!!! | The Blog of Hubbers

If you can find out anything else like email addresses or names of the managers or owners of these dodgy companies please let me know.

I have set up an online petition stating that Amazon should stop circulating advertising material for VistaPrint. Hopefully if we get enough signatures Amazon will stop doing business with these scammers and we will get them where it hurts the most … their bank account!

hi, am new to this forum. I recently discovered yesterday, as I was about to shred all my statements from a closed down bank account, the exact same thing has happened to me. Clubprem have stole 195 pound from my account without premission and trying to get a resolution or an answer from anyone is not happening and driving me mad. I work for a bank and I am constantly trying to get people protected from this sort of thing, when it is already going on my own bank account. I dont know how it works now as my account has been closed for almost 4 weeks now. I need help!!!

              Re: uptightpensioner and Vistaprint

HI I called vista print and they gave me the contact details of club prem whom I called an had a nice long argument with one of the very unhelpfull staff memnbers. He offered me a refund of one month whih I angrily refused. They insisted that I closed down the account in November 2009 but I dont know how I could have done so when I had no idea that they even exsisted. Im now at my wits end with this situation and dont know where to go from here.

Hi Tools, I had a look at the post 34 that you advied and I called them, turns out thats who I spoke to this morning regarding this. They are very unhelpfull and to be honest quite rude in regards to the matter. However thanks for the heads up on it. :tinysmile_hmm_t2:
