Just wondering what my rights are regarding the order of a new van that turned up at the dealership & it was the wrong specification. They claim the manufacturer has made the mistake in production.
The car has just gone so no transport & the van dealership confirmed collection for Saturday a couple of days ago. So I booked cheap train tickets to go down & then the dealership has rang again. To say it is not the specification I ordered. So it is another twelve week wait once they re-order & I have to wait. There has also been a price increase since then. In terms of my rights:
- Do they have to provide me with a courtesy vehicle until mine arrives?
- The price rise shouldn’t effect me & as on Finance that won’t change either?
- I’ve also been told if I want to add anything else I potentially could. But may that change my contract & they’ll hit me with the price hike?
TIA
