Hi, I was late submitting my VAT returns (sole trader).
It appears from reading online, that I have already done the correct thing by at least writing to them and telling them that I am strugging. The buisness is insolvent.
I also have two non-payer clients, one at 4.5k and one at 2k.
I owe VAT 4.5k and PAYE 1.5k. I had to take two months off becuase of over work. Then corona came.
Does anyone acturally have luck negotiating with them? I am hoping to negotiate a 50percent settlement, I also understand that I cannot be seen to not trading afterwards.
