Directors credit rating ruined

A Limited Company that took out a broadband contract and is apparently £15 in default has a "crddit defaultt' registered against all 4 directors ruining cteditvrating of each from.perfect 800 to very poor ie equifax less than 380.

On what basis is this possible given that Lrd co ate not governef by CCA 1974 and neither is a broadband agreement?

The contract was taken out in the company name?
Did the Directors give personal guarantees on the broadband contract ?
It really shouldn't be affecting your personal accounts.
Who was the contract with?
