Can someone advice. Should you be made aware if an indemnity is required in advance. I took delivery of 3 lease vehicles and on the day of delivery i was asked by the representitive to sign the delivery and agreements. I was not aware that one of these documents was a personal indmnity. (small print) At no point prior in any corrospondace was it highlighted that one was required.
As this was on the day and now having reviewed the docs they are claiming as the business is in liquidation. It clearly says that "you should take legal advice prior to signing" As i was not aware of this doc and as it was on the day how could i take legal advice on the day
do i have a defence??
